Stillwater Symphony

What to Expect During Your Experience

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your Stillwater Symphony practitioner into a serene, softly lit pool space. Each guest will float on a twin-sized air mattress (full size available upon request), complete with a neck pillow, blanket, and optional eye mask. Inflatable pool hammocks can be requested for those who desire to be partially immersed in the water.

For our Luxury Float Experiences, we do request:

  • Please silence & store cell phones and other devices
  • Use soft, quiet voices upon entering
  • Refrain from taking photos during a session
  • Remove sharp jewelry and avoid clothes with zippers
  • Guests 14–17 must accompanied by a participating adult.

Live Music Journey

Settle into stillness as you’re immersed in a live sound experience featuring crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and hand-played drums—designed to soothe your nervous system and support emotional release.

Integration

After the sound journey, you’ll have a few quiet minutes to rest, breathe, and will be gently returned back to the pool stairs for off loading. Please continue to honor the peaceful space with silenced phones and soft voices until the session ends.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any prior experience to attend a session?

Not at all! Sound healing is for everyone, regardless of age or background. All you need to do is show up, relax, and let the vibrations guide you.

Do I need to know how to swim?

No swimming required. You’ll float safely on supported mattresses, and staff will be nearby to assist if needed. Waist belts are also available for extra security.

What should I bring?

Wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. Please avoid clothing with zippers or sharp jewelry to protect the floats. Clothes may get a little wet when getting onto or off the provided floatation devices.

What kind of music will be played?

Live meditative music— crystal singing bowls, guitar, handpan, and ambient soundscapes, curated to support deep relaxation.

Do I have to do yoga during a yoga session?

Stillwater Symphony does not force any one to engage in any activity beyond their comfort level or physical limits. Everyone is welcome to participate in and observe a session, but please feel free to reach out to us and ask any questions you may have and allow us to address your specific needs and concerns.

Do I have to use the floats during a float session?

Stillwater Symphony respects the desires and concerns of our participants. Using our floats is voluntary and those who choose not to can still participate from a mat or a seated position. Feel free to contact us with any concerns you may have.

Does Stillwater Symphony offer refunds?

Reservation Policy All reservations are final sale and nonrefundable. Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be moved to another date. Please confirm your availability prior to booking, as each experience is intentionally curated with limited capacity. If Stillwater Symphony must cancel an event, guests will receive a credit towards a future float.

Are float sessions always the same length of time?

Sessions typically last 90 minutes in length, but can be tailored to your event needs. Regardless, we do allow time at the end of the session to allow everyone time to properly integrate.

Is this for adults only?

No, guests, ages 14 and up, are welcome. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Health & Safety Advisory

Our Floating Sound Journeys are designed for adults and are suitable for guests ages 14–17 when accompanied by a participating adult. Please inform us of any medical conditions or physical concerns beforehand. By participating, you acknowledge responsibility for your own health and agree to consult a professional if needed. Your well-being is our highest priority.

We kindly ask anyone to consult a professional if they:

  • Are pregnant (especially in the 1st trimester) as you may have heightened sensitivity to sound frequencies during pregnancy.
